Covid-19

When the Covid19 shutdowns swept through our nation, causing havoc in our way of life, I experienced the backlash of fear firsthand. Small business owners form the backbone of our country. These are the same people who were seen as unessential and thereby had their rights infringed upon by a government that promises to “Protect the People.” I firmly believe, as Ronald Regan once said,

“Government’s first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives.”

Leaders are needed at all levels of government, who are willing to “dig their boots in the ground” and stand firmly on the Constitutional Principles that founded this nation. As a candidate I pledge to honor my sworn duty of protecting the rights of Arkansans.

The Covid mandates that swept across Arkansas during the early stages of the pandemic sent shockwaves that reached all across your society. Lives were destroyed. Familiy businesses were closed. Life savings were gone. People lost a sense of their humanity as they hid in the fear that was propagated by our elected leaders.

Like so many others, a sense of patriotism overcame me, and I sought to find a means to help my fellow Americans during this difficult time. In the summer of 2020, the SBA (Small Business Administration) requested help from ordinary citizens to help process the overwhelming loan applications under the CARES Act (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act) that was passed in 2020. It was a time to consider the needs of others and less of myself. Through this position with the Federal Government as Loan Officer, I was able to help save the livelihood of hundreds of small businesses within the State of Arkansas and all across the country. This act of servitude allowed me to experience the American Spirit of neighbors helping neighbors during moments of crisis.

Jonathan Dismang's

Voting Records

Senator Dismang repeatedly voted not to protect those when Governmental overreach was destroying lives. He vowed to protect and uphold the Constitution, but his actions willing violated the 4th Amendment and the 14th Amendment: "no state should deprive any person of life, liberty, or property."
